A Brilliant Viewpoint in Clinical Trials: SAS Business Intelligence : Epoch Research Institute India Pvt. Ltd. (www.epoch.co.in)

Platforms, listings and Features are part of day to day medical syndication. Hence it would be useful if statisticians/clients could quickly analyze the research details through different time points. This allows for better choices because you are able to view results while the research is ongoing, this visualization during a research can allow for great effectiveness as choices can be made previously in the medical test.

BI generates research and provides reliable details in making effective and top quality company (clinical) choices. Common BI facilities elements are internet based techniques for collecting, washing, developing, examining, confirming and discussing details. It provides the feasibility to create complicated and interconnected design with the help of details maps; which will area over the current unique details (via SDTM websites such as DM, AE, LB, VS) - without the need for adjustment of unique details. The idea here can be found in interlinking websites with the use of main important factors and surrogate important factors which allow the statisticians and medical authors to quickly create complicated reviews such as: individual information, interrelation between AE and impact on PK factors modify in lab result with regard to visibility of the medication and individual road through different scientific tests.

SAS Web Report Studio (WRS) is an SAS Business Intelligence device which encourages customers with quick accessibility reviews. It has the ability to respond to questions in an changing company (clinical research) atmosphere, with the improvement of several report connecting and entertaining report creation. It also provides the customer the power of details synchronization and meta-data protection. Multiple customers can accessibility and spread the reviews in different types to create better choices. This is because of the immediate point and click customer interface available in SAS WRS which decreases the barrier time between the developer and statistician. SAS BI can be the greatest all in one device to provide understanding and create better choices in scientific tests. It is the one device which provides features like:

             Report connecting
Minimal programming (drop down selection & options menu)
Interactive reports ability (change the axis or the type of graph)

Data protection (SAS Metadata level security)

Excellent chance for all the statistical background students to initiate with SAS Enterprise Guide: SAS ANOVA Regression and Logistic Regression : Epoch Research Institute India Pvt. Ltd. (www.epoch.co.in)

Excellent chance for all the statistical background students to initiate with SAS Enterprise Guide: SAS : EpochResearch Institute India Pvt Ltd. (SASAuthorised Training : Ahmedabad | Bangalore)
ANOVA Regression and Logistic Regression:

I am here to announce the excellent career based opportunity for all the students/candidates belonging to Statistical background. Bravo, everything complies as per the statistical standards.SAS Predictive modelling consists of two modules. SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS Enterprise Guide. But I am here to discuss regarding the SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) module.

SAS Enterprise Guide
This course is designed for SAS Enterprise Guide users who want to perform Statistical analyses using SAS Enterprise Guide, a point-and-click interface to the SAS system. The basic requirement for this training is that before attending this course, you should have completed an undergraduate course in statistics covering p-values, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and regression.

Now let brief you regarding the course description. This course focuses on the key areas as follows:
  •        Statistical inference
  •        Analysis of variance
  •        Multiple regression
  •        Categorical data analysis and logistic regression
  •        You will learn to construct graphs to explore and summarize data
  •        Construct confidence intervals for means
  •        Test Hypothesis
  •        Apply multiple comparison techniques in ANOVA
  •        Assess and correct co linearity in multiple regressions
  •        Use diagnostic statistics to identify potential outliers in multiple regression
  •        Use chi-square statistics to detect associations among categorical variables, and fit a multiple logistic  regression model

This was all about course description and let extend the aspects to course contents. Following are the course contents:

Introduction to Statistics
  •        Examining data distributions
  •        Obtaining and interpreting sample statistics
  •        Describing categorical data

Inferences for the mean
  •        Constructing confidence intervals
  •        Performing simple tests of hypothesis

Analysis of variance
  •        Performing one-way ANOVA
  •        Performing multiple comparisons
  •        Performing two-way ANOVA with and without interactions

Regression
  •        Producing scatter plots
  •        Producing correlations
  •        Fitting a simple linear regression model
  •        Understanding the concepts of multiple regression
  •        Building and interpreting models
Regression Diagnostics
  •        Examining residuals
  •        Investigating influence and co linearity

Categorical Data analysis
  •        Producing frequency tables
  •        Examining tests for general and linear association
  •        Understanding the concepts of logistic regression

So this was the general and complete information regarding SAS Enterprise guide module. This can hook up your mind and your career path will be established if you belong to Statistical background. If you are the one from statistical background, then what you are waiting for??? Immediately contact us for the same.

So do you know actual difference between SAS Business intelligence and SAS Business Analytics? : Epoch Research Institute India Pvt. Ltd. (www.epoch.co.in)

So do you know actual difference between SAS Business intelligence and SAS Business Analytics?

Last week, we came across a discussion with our team mates and trainers that what is the exact difference between SAS Business intelligence and Business analytics. So finally we formulated this response to everyone’s query about the dissimilarity that what actually SAS provides with.

See, Business intelligence is what we can say one of the key factors that bind into a set of the analytics techniques. The performance infrastructures and the information handling needed to distribute the insights through the significant BI assistance. We have seen that almost majority of the Business intelligence system provides the reporting capabilities to wider users.

Now let me focus on actual what’s the major difference between the two. SAS Business Analytics almost provides each and everything that Business intelligence do but one extra level of functionality is that this Business analytics is an analysis tool that is used to complete tasks like regression, forecasting along with modeling. SAS Business analytics includes almost all the prior regions required to in decision making, analytics, and various other Business solutions. The framework for Business Analytics is authorized by the high performance analytics of SAS.

So as per mind, Intelligence and Analytics appear to be the same in terms but still the term Intelligence is an additional word for information/news/communication. The tools have been integrated within a BI system to provide the information or news to larger number of audience. Whereas Analysis far dissimilar for exploring the past present whatever the data, information is available. When this tool is allotted to analysts, they can perform all their exploration and inspection their minds can handle.

This was my idea and differentiation point regarding the two. What do you think and what’s your opinion and view regarding the difference between Business intelligence and SAS Business analytics??
