The Live Web classroom setting is very similar to a traditional
classroom. It is run in real-time with quizzes, Q&A time, and lab time
periodically throughout the course. The fast-paced nature of the class will
encourage you to focus solely on the course during the sessions each day.
The same
instructors you have for traditional classroom courses teach the Live Web
classes. They are extensively trained to teach in the Live Web environment.
Many classes even have two instructors to help answer questions during class.
In the
Live Web classroom, students have the ability to "raise their hand"
and ask questions via the Voice over IP (VOIP) feature. There is also a texting
option to ask the 2nd instructor a question without disrupting the entire
class. The 2nd instructor also monitors the texted questions and if several
students have the same question, they can inform the instructor allowing for
deeper discussion with the whole class. 1
Taking the training via the web will allow you to access software
in our virtual lab. You will not need SAS software on your computer.
