SAS base and advanced -1.5 to 2 lakh,very competitive difficult to crack job
SAS data integration studio -2.5 lakh
SAS visual analytics -3.5 lakh
SAS enterprise miner-3.5 lakh
SAS Data flux -3 lakh

I use to take lot of interviews for my clients, I never question to anyone about do you have certification ,I will check his logical thinking by giving some real time scenarios and I will ask more question on SQL concepts
to learn SAS , Basic Computer knowledge ,Basic SQL programming is sufficient
Most of the fresher’s, they will start learn SAS Base and advanced then they will complete their certification successfully then job search
Now a days interviewers are having very very good knowledge about how the people are getting certified, so I feel certification is not compulsory.
There are thousands of people in each and every city- India certified by SAS,from that max to max 20% people are with the jobs , then what about remaining ?

presently there is huge competition in SAS Base and advanced area.
But my advise is SAS Contains different other modules and tools along with SAS Base and advanced ,choose smartly which is suitable for your qualification and less competitive tool and surely you can crack job in SAS Domain
Recently SAS launched new tool called SAS VIYA -Viya provides open APIs allowing non-SAS client languages like Python, Java, and Lua ,
I can give one advise for freshers , Who completed their SAS Base and Advanced immediately learn SAS VIYA with SAS Visual analytics and be ready to grab the opportunity .SAS VIYA is going to replace most the of the analytical tools , Fresher’s think smartly
Do you like programming /Code learn -SAS EG /SAS Base products -(Huge competition)

If you wanted to be statistical analyst /Data Mining /Machine learning learn -SAS Enterprise Miner /SAS Studio, SAS Visual analytics ( Less competition)
If you wanted to do just drag and drop easy analysis then learn -SAS Visual analytics ,presently its having huge demand in market (Very less competition)
If you wanted to go for data management and data quality then learn -SAS Data flux management studio /SAS MDM (Less competition)
If you wanted to go business intelligence and data warehousing then learn SAS Data Integration studio / SAS OLAP etc.. /(very competitive )
If you are from marketing customer analytics then go for SAS CI module -SAS Customer Intelligence (very less competition)
If you are from finance background choose -SAS Anti money laundering -SAS AML( Very less competition)
